At the age of 65 years and over, ideally the water intake is between 1 - 1.5 liters per day. In the elderly people, the water intake that is recommended is at least 1 liter per day. This is caused because the body systems on elderly people are less able to discard water with good.

Benefits of water for the body not only that. A research found that drinking white water can lower the risk of diabetes. These research was conducted on 82,902 middle-aged women. Not only that, Dr. Parlindungan also discovered the benefits of white water to prevent bladder infections.

"If the water intake is less, can facilitate a bladder infection. With increasing a water, then the increases the volume of urine and prevent infection," said Dr. Parlindungan. Then why should white water? Dr. Parlindungan explained that several research found that if drinking water that contains sugar, it is feared instead can be trigger obesity.
