Heart disease is often associated with people who are have been aged or a minimum of middle-aged. Many do not know that heart disease can also affect children. Just only different from the causes of heart disease in adults.

Dr. Nukman explains, genetic factors accounted for approximately 75 percent of the causes of congenital heart disease. Dr. Sukman explained, heart disease in children is not caused because disturbances in the coronary blood vessels, such as in adults, but usually there are abnormalities or leaks in chambers. Fortunately, these abnormalities can be detected since in the pregnancy through ultrasound.
However, abnormalities can be detected by ultrasound, most are abnormalities that have been to be severe. Mild abnormalities are usually not detected until the baby is born, there is even a new known after baby aged 2-3 weeks. whereas, the baby requires immediate treatment.
