A study of 100 homes in the rainy season in 2011, showed that about 87 percent of the family wash and dry clothes in the laundry room and some use heat sources such as radiators, instead of sunlight.
The study was funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, the first to examine the impact of passive drying clothes made in the house, as quoted by the Daily Mail, Tuesday (06/11/2012).
