Blackberry allergy also can trigger hives

The rapid technological advancement makes some people become 'allergy' smartphones, such fears to switch from the old technology out of fear seems clueless about computers. But for some, allergy can also mean smartphone itching.

Allergy smartphone in real sense is characterized by itching around the cheek bones, whiskers and ears. Immune reactions usually appear when the skin is exposed to the surface of smart phones aka smartphones, including the BlackBerry.

Investigate a calibaration, nickel content in different brands of smartphones is the black sheep of this embarrassing allergic reaction. Yes, it's a shame because it seems people are 'allergy' to the sophistication of the technology and is more worthy of wearing old school phones only.

This was revealed in a recent study conducted Tania Mucci, MD of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI). The study was conducted on 75 brands of smartphones, including the iPhone, Droid and BlackBerry various types.

The results showed that the nickel content found in most types of flip phones that can be folded. Meanwhile, based on the type, most smartphone is BlackBerry containing nickel, which is still very popular, including in Indonesia.

"There is no special way to cure nickel allergy, so the best way is to avoid objects containing nickel," said Dr. Mucci just recently presented his findings at the ACAAI meeting, as quoted from Menshealth.com, Friday (9/11 / 2012).

Allergy symptoms such as itching are generally harmless, but if allowed to continue could trigger post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation skin blackened by the excess melanin. If not allergy because they do not have time to dodge, the medicine is an antihistamine.
