This Easy Way Lowering Blood Pressure

Blood pressure can go up and down every day. However, if experiencing high blood pressure or hypertension in the long term it has the potential to increase the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Blood pressure is measured using two numbers the systolic and diastolic. Systolic is the pressure inside blood vessels when the heart muscle contraction. While diastolic is the pressure when the heart is at rest.

Usually people with obesity, smoking, and alcohol drinkers at risk of having high blood pressure. To avoid this disease, it is a lifestyle change that could be a risk factor you have hypertension. Thus quoted from My Health News Daily, Friday (12/21/2012).

Here are some basic ways to keep your blood pressure remains at a healthy level:

1. Doing a healthy diet
2. Exercise regularly
3. Do not smoke
4. Limit alcohol consumption

Even some studies show small changes in the diet also causes some people at risk of developing high blood pressure. Well, a few other things you need to do in order to avoid high blood pressure are:

1. Avoid Fructose

A study conducted in July 2010 and published in the Journal of the American Society of Nephrology suggesting a reduction in sugar, especially fructose, can reduce the risk of hypertension. The findings of the researchers, people who consumed 74 grams of fructose or more per day had a 77 percent higher risk of increased blood pressure to be 160/100. This condition or better is considered hypertensive.

2. Increase Potassium

In a study published in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine in September 2010 showed that increasing potassium food will be just as effective as halving the intake of sodium. With potassium levels are always met, can help lower the risk of high blood pressure.

Foods that contain potassium include potatoes, grains, red meat, spinach, tomatoes, bananas and avocados.

3. Enjoy a little chocolate
